Butter Golden Popcorn Afghan ❇️❇️❇️❇️❇️

             This is one of my favorite afghans I made. I chose the name because of the color I used. It reminded me of buttery popcorn!

           I was looking for some crochet project ideas when I found Haafner's blog. Her work is amazing and she is very generous to give her beautiful patterns for free. Both her popcorn blanket and smitten blanket were immediately added to my ever growing "to hook list" :)

        I made nine squares using Red Heart Super saver solid, color Lemon and used Red heart accent, color - Paradise for the border. Hook size 5.5 mm -I. 

                      It took a while for me to complete the squares as I was doing other small projects. I must admit that any project with the popcorn stitch is a yarn guzzler. I used 4 skeins(I have a little leftover from the fourth skein) for this afghan.
